Why in the world did Tennessee

  • fire Dooley with one game left and thank him for his services. I don't care how bad the coach is that is completely classless! I can understand telling Dooley that he is gone after Kentucky game, but to not let him coach the final game of year is completely classless! No wonder Gruden is considering Arkansas over Tennessee and his wife is a former Vol cheerleader.

This is their last ditch effort to hire Gruden . We had an advantage with an open coaching search . They were not able to do that without a legit opening ...

  • Oh guys this won't make you happy but Dooley chose to not coach the last game he was given the option. Just wanted to Clear That up For you. Also too many people in the NFL have mentioned Tennessee would be the only college job Gruden would take per Chris Mortenson And Raheem Morris. But I get bashing us we did it to Petrino and how he screwed y'all. Good luck in your search but it won't be Gruden probably for either of us.

  • Not bashing just a matter of perception. We have no way of knowing what Dooley was told because TN isn't covered here.

And those guys are perfect so they've never ever been wrong before.

I love Chris Mortenson he's one of the best but a couple months and even a couple weeks ago he was saying Gruden wouldn't coach college at all. He guaranteed it and said people in ark and tenn were crazy for thinking it blow he's saying if he coaches at all it'll be at Tenn. just giving ya a heads up on what Mort has said.

  • From what I understand he was given the choice to coach in the last game and declined.
