Otis,
I think Gundy was a REAL option at some point, but after due diligence, it would be a very hard sell for Long and I don't believe that now. I agree, Gundy will likely NOT be at OSU next year, but I don't believe that he will be at Arkansas either. But hey, I'm just a fan, what do I know?

At first when Gruden was brought up I was like heck yeah instant star power, but over the last couple of months mulling over the idea between hiring him or a Mike Gundy I can't help but think that Gundy would not only be great higher, but also be the safer long term investment. I say that because I have a REALLY REALLY hard time believing that Gruden wouldn't turn down the first HCing opportunity to get back into the NFL.

Why would it be hard sell now? What exactly has changed that would decrease the value of the job that much? Plus all the serious Gundy talk just started coming about rather recently.

I will be happy with anyone on this list. I am sort of rooting for Butch Davis because I was amazed at what he did with the total mess he inherited at Miami. Probably won't get the job though.
