I really can not believe this, I am at a loss for words! All my friends from LSU to UGA have just told me the same thing, "We were right about Petrino being scum, and we were right about Long being in over his head there is a reason they are/were at Arkansas" we are a laughing stock!

Absolutely the best option available if we had to go the interim route.

I agree, just surprised that he took the position. I'm very confident that the agreement is for INTERIM ONLY with no option of HC at the end of the season. As, I stated before, he knows the system, most of the coaches and has HC/CEO experience. Make him the paper pusher and let the coaches run the team. IF you have to go the Interim route, this is a very good choice. For those who are worried about recruiting, that would have been the issue regardless of who you put in as interim.

Agreed.....as far as some tossing around the phrase "laughing stock"....sorry guys the only "laughing stock" are those who honestly thought Gruden would take the UA job!!
