Leemicha.I am not a member of the other board but would like to know the name of the moron who released a name the coaches obviously did not want out
The QB from Arlington, TX has been on the Hawgsports board since this morning...
The thing about a lot of this is at this point with twitter and facebook - pointing fingers at people is extremely difficult.
I've been accused of taking info to other boards, which is blatantly false. What some fail to realize is I'm good friends with Trey, Danny, Clay and Otis - I've not met Robert yet - but Robert - you are owed a pair of boots my friend anytime you like. I have no interest in "scoops" or taking credit for info as "mine" because there is no such thing. And, I would obviously not look to undermine people I've developed relationships with over the years of following this stuff. When a recruit says something on Twitter, where me and about 10,000 other hog fans may follow - that isn't a "scoop" - that is open info for anyone to read or see. So, if I post what that recruit says on here, the Edge or HI, it shouldn't matter to anyone. Its not "mine" its 1000's of peoples info if you want to look it that way.
Now, its different when Otis gets a kid on the phone and then he posts something here that isn't anywhere else.
That is proprietary info as far as I'm concerned and shouldn't be posted on other boards, or twitter or facebook.
That rule applies no matter the board.
Back to your thing - who knows. I don't follow that kid on twitter since I didn't know he was a hog recruit, but he could have posted something about his visit on facebook or twitter and then.. its on a message board. Also, you have about 100 other "recruiting writers" these days that work for all the networks putting stuff out every 4-5min.
So, while this may have been a case of "jumping the gun" and could piss off coaches, I'm not selling anyone down the river when there is no telling if that is the case or not.
