Otis for you brother

  • Man this board has started to go to a bad place. There are some posters on this board now that all they live for is attention and looking to cause a huge uproar to divide the board through conflict. I am getting to the point where everytime I click on a topic the same posters are going back and forth and turning everything into something about them. It's getting ridiculous.

    I know the majority of the time I like to just ask questions but I do like to read, intelligent conservations about the hogs not a bunch of nonsense.

    I really hope we can clean some of this up because its really starting to get old.

    Being very new to the board, I can only say that I agree 100% . This what I was trying to say a few days ago in a post. Thanks for the great info provided.

  • I was just telling another board member this same thing yesterday. Thanks for the rules post Otis, hopefully that will help.

    It was starting to get similar to some other boards and that is a reason I am not on those other boards. Hopefully it will get better now.

  • Yeah sometimes it just comes down either taking a brake from the madness for a day or learn the names and just scroll past them when you see them not matter what.

    At least that's the two ways I usually chose to deal...unless I see something totally ignorant then yeah I'm apt to raise my voice.

    Attention is relevant only when its undivided.

    Dont shoot me for saying so, but I really think that sending the message over the board was good. Then again, I was a military man (meaning thick skin).

    I understand where you are coming from and I agree it has good. I also know that people coming to the board and signing up today and this post is what they read not sure they want to stay and get good first impression of board. Oh well, hopefully everyone decides to act like adults and show just an ounce of respect for others and we get all this worked out.
