If Garrick is hired I will be okay with it. I just wish we could hire one of those top four and let GM get some seasoning and then hire him after the next hire leaves.

Chris Petterson? We should at least give him a ring.
I really wouldn't mind to see Strong in here though.. The more I think about it more appealing it is. I mean, Strong is a defensive and recruiting machine. If we kept most of the staff we have now and just added Strong, then that would be killer.

No doubt! Let PP run the offense and Strong is a defensive genius and prolly wouldn't mind reataining Taver and Haynes. Whoever we hire THEY MUST RETAIN HORTON AND ALLEN or they will be in the doghouse with me from the get go.

Three of your top five would be terrible hires(2, 3 and 4). It would be extremely tough to hire someone from the outside at this point in time and if they did hire a top flight coach they're definately bringing their own assistants or, at least, most of them.

I think I am leaning toward OK's recommendation of giving PP the interim title to keep some normalcy and if all goes well make it official after the season.
