I have to agree with Adrian21 though. You cant deny that the O line is going to take time to develop at Arkansas. It was pretty much abysmal last year. The complete opposite for Miami. We return the ENTIRE offensive line and most analysts have us having one of the Top 5 offensive lines in the country. We offer immediate playing time just like you guys. Not to mention the University of Miami is a consensus Top 40 academic institution. The lifestyle in Arkansas is completely different than what it is in South Florida. I expect him to pick Miami, but would not be shocked if he picks Arkansas. Your coaching staff has been relentless.

Thank you, no disrespect to Arkansas hell they beat FSU, UF and other teams that have wanted him so be proud of that but i can't see him picking against UM for all of those reasons

Hey...I can't really see him leaving S. Florida, either. UM has made their living on S. FL kids and will always have the inside track to these players. Miami is a beautiful, tropical place and if you grew up there...it would probably be hard to leave.

However...Arkansas is a beautiful place, as well. Rolling hills and mountains with 4 seasons. Nice people. A great economy in NW Arkansas. Fan support that overall, Miami doesn't have. Facilities that are second to none.

You see...from the outside looking in, most people think Arkansas is this backwards, backwoods hicktown of a place. But...just like most recruits who visit...you'd be shocked how nice it is.

In the end...I still think he chooses Miami...and Collins is such a nice, well spoken young man that I can not wish him anything but success wherever he ends up.

Arkansas has a lot to offer. They have better facilities, better coaching staff, and they play in the NFL Minor League. That doesn't include the huge sanctions that the NCAA could be laying on Miami. Oh and I forgot but the depth chart is better for him. Too bad 17-18 year olds don't always feel that way. I know I left for the navy at 18 and didn't want to race northwest Arkansas but 10 years later it was the best decision to leave home in order to be successful so call the hogs Collins!!!

Who cares who said what? We are talking about young people. I hope he calls those hogs but either way he knows what the best choice is for him and I like every body else should respect the young man, his GF, and his decision regardless what school he picks. We've got a big time sophomore back on our rooster right now that will be able to carry us through the next couple years if we don't get Alex and although it would be awesome if he was with us it won't be the end of the world.
