I don't want anyone to say I'm crazy but I think DJ should start at running back, at least the first couple of games. DJ has done a tremendous job and he is an outstanding back. He's very versatile. I love seeing those short legs get going and he will run you over. Don't want Trusty to kill me, but he is so much better than Wingo. I hope Knile has a fabulous year but I think he needs to prove himself again. Any takers on this?

I guess I read what you said differently than these othere guys. I took you to mean that DJ deserves to start the first couple of games becasue he has worked so hard, has taken all the contact in practice and scrimmages, not becasue you think he is better than Knile. I think you are saying let him start in the first game and then work Knile in since he has had no contact in a year, let him get his legs and timing back over the first couple of games while his carries are increasing. It makes some sense to me.

I'd rather take the odds of going with the things that can be readily/easily fixable rather than risking the chance of losing him completely before he even has a chance to step on the field and play.
He will get some contact expierence in the first two games where hopefully the starters won't (shouldnt) have to play the whole game if they come in with their minds right.

DJ should start
