i hate to brake anyones heart but dgb aint going to texas despite those homers down there thinking everyone is going there i live closer to texas here in northern louisiana than dgb will when he picks his college

Ive heard that Texas feels really good where they stand hmmm just cant get a solid read from this kid. Otis do you think he takes an OV here?

pretty sure he has already taken an OV to Texas. They say it went well and that's why they think they have a shot. I'd give anything if it was really down to us and Texas instead of us and OU. I would really like our chances then.

Good grief, Texas thinks they're getting everybody. Yes DGB had a great visit to Texas, but like Barton Simmons article stated...distance was the main factor in him not considering Texas. DGB will either be a hog or a Sooner. Get over it Texas

Arkansas is shooting for Jan. 20 weekend when they play Michigan in basketball. I don't believe he is going to Texas. It is a long ways from home and they don't have a very good QB in my opinion.

The thing that concerns me the most about Tex is 30 minutes from springfield is a direct flight to Austin on a low cost airline.

Hogger, I'm interested in which carrier you are thinking of? I've checked every normal airline, and there is no direct flight from Springfield to Austin - that includes Jetblue and Southwest. So, which airline and flights are you thinking about here? I travel quite a bit, so maybe I'm missing something.

Branson air express is seasonal and flies direct, but theyve shut down for the winter. They are suggesting to fly frontier which goes thru Denver. Branson has Airtran and Branson air express. Didnt realize till now that it was seasonal though.
Not nearly as concerned about cheap flights after looking into it. During tourist season $150 round trip nonstop, right now it would cost $850 with a Denver layover.

It would be a shame to lose DGB to Texas. I'm not saying they won't get him, but I just don't see it happening. I think he wanted to make sure he was making a good decision for Arkansas so he officialed at UT for comparison.. Just my opinion, but I think he calls the Hogs in the end.
We'll see. I don't live and die on any single recruit, but Dorial would be a tremendous finishing piece for our class.
