Lacy going to UCLA is no surprise but it is what we have come to expect after last year's close.
Tenpenny is Bama bound and Johnson has always been a Nebraska lean so that gets us down to holding on for the two super stars of Miami.
I have hope for them but getting either one is against the history of our recruiting.
We knew we were a little late to the party on all these kids and understand we should not have this problem so much next year.
Mitchell, Evans and Marshall are not a bad way to end as far as good athletic kids that can help in several ways but I would love to find another lineman.
We will be fine with this class........the Miami duo is what would make us feel like world beaters.
Going to be interesting and a year from now....weeeeeeeeeeeee
When did Lacy say he was sticking with UCLA?
his coach maybe, I forgot
Lacy - He has not made his decision public yet and won't do so until Monday. We have a shot with him.
Tenpenny - We have a chance with him but not sure we had enough time to make up the ground.
Johnson - 50/50 according to everyone who covers recruiting.
Collins - Several places are saying we win this battle
Kirkland - He is an unknown but we are in his top 3
Mitchell, Evans, & Marshall should all commit while here this weekend.
Not sure why you think the sky is falling and we won't end up with any of these players. We may miss out on all them all or we may land them all but right now no decisions have been made.
Whiskey can elaborate if he would like, but I do believe Lacy's coach made a statement saying he was sticking with UCLA within the past 48 hours.
Of course, sometimes things get turned around....

it could turn out just like this:
New staff does GREAT job making a late run into kids lives that had pretty much already picked a school. We did good work just to come in second but in recruiting, second is the same as tenth place. We really took on some bigtime schools so it gives us great hope for 2014.
We should be happy with the four kids we may get at the end instead of looking down on them because they are NOT part of the Big 5.
We beat out good DI teams to get these kids , if we sign all four, and not just little schools.
Evans over Houston
Mitchell over Ga Tech
Hartfield over Kansas St
Marshall over many smaller schools due
to late issues clearing up
After last year.....waiting on stars at the end,,
I have no confidence in Arkansas winning
the last min. decision.
I still love our kids, who knows what they will be in a couple years
I HATE being right but as a long time Arkansas fan.....you just learn that we get our recruits early......we do not get the drama guys at the end
dont be so sure on Kirkland he still might end up at Miami! AC could end up being a hog for all we know!
use to be that a lot of kids that play the game right up to the end...........were just jacking up their asking price
I do not know if that still goes on or not.
We are done unless Mitchell decides to come
You will know on Wed that I am pretty good at this
Been here before
Unfortunately this is true. I hope we see a change this year though.
We will I am certain of it...
