that is the title on a CLEMSON board.
Just seemed funny when we are trying to make it a bigger push.
I think it is all about location location and LOCATION.
Our big hole in recruiting is Kansas and Missouri. Those two states are in our face and we should be able to get more recruits there
Not sure about Kansas, because I imagine they have fewer D1 recruits than even Arkansas has...but Missouri, yes!
The reason we're recruiting S. Florida so much right now is because we have 3-4 coaches who basically grew up recruiting there and know all of the coaches down there. They also know from experience that many of these S. Florida kids aren't afraid to go outside of FL.
Texas...well, it remains to be seen. I think hiring Coach Smith from KSU will help us there. If we get Johnson and Evans from there, that's not bad for the last month of recruiting. I'm thinking we'll do good in Texas, but we may actually take more kids from Florida than Texas while CBB is here.
there are states like New Jersey and Illinois that don't have great college football programs.....that get hit hard from outside recruiters. I guess we will hit those states also
I just think we're gonna have to have a bigger recruiting budget and go uncover kids in areas (like Hawaii) that we may not have searched for kids before. I think we have to find these 4* kids like Koehler and Skipper from unusual places who most other SEC teams aren't recruiting because they're so far away...yet these kids would love to play in the SEC. They'er out there...but we have to uncover them.
Florida for Clemson is like Texas for Arkansas.
