    Im pretty sure currently our basketball team is dominating the ACC and defeated Duke this week and our baseball team has won a couple national championships and our womens basketball team is always good oh and our football program has 5 national championships when was the last time Arkansas played for a NC in anything? your baseball team is good though watched them in Texarkana last year

    Miami is 3W-18L against ranked opponents in the last 6 seasons.....Congrats????

  • miami fans must be nervous if they come to the site of the challenger and talk trash. maybe it's the looming sanctions that have them scared, or maybe it's the prospect of fading further into mediocrity.

    It was a dual post to both sites. But whatever will help you sleep at night. The bottom line from this whole article is Alex wouldn't even be considering your school if it wasn't for your recently hired staff.

    Actually they arent rated higher anymore.. im in recruiting and we have a guide we use by Barrons which 90% of recruiting agencys use.. it has Miami rated as very competitve and Arkansas is rated as very competitve +.. like I said location is all.. as of right now Ark has 3 Rb, 3wr, 1 Te. And a few of linemen.. after this draft 2 more Rb and 1wr and 1 more TE..

    Ummmm Miami is a top 40 school in the nation...

  • I can honestly say that when our new coaching staff came in here in December and said they would be recruiting south Florida foremost, I was worried. Growing up in Arkansas and having been to Miami, I can attest that the two places are very different. Miami is, of course, very metropolitan and very tropical. NW Arkansas is mountainous, with large lakes, hardwood forests and 4 seasons.

    Thing is, some kids in south Florida are gonna want to get away. And...unlike what many outside of Arkansas think, NW Arkansas is a beautiful place with very friendly people, a great economy, corporations...and the fan support for Arkansas athletics is amazing. Just like some kids who grew up in Arkansas would LOVE to live in Miami, I can guarantee there are some around Miami who would love Arkansas.

    To each his own. Good luck with Collins. I hope we get him. However...if he goes to the U, I wish him success because he seems like a really good person with a great head on his shoulders.

    Isn't Arkansas a satellite campus for University of Phoenix?

    To put Miami and Arkansas on the same footing is absurd. It's like comparing apples to incest.

    That's history. I agree with y'all hawgs that the NCAA is killing us with their incompetent witch hunt. Collins isn't the only 5 star in our backyard that is not a slam dunk like it was in the past and is looking beyond SoFlo. What a joke the NCAA is.
