Returned three punts for 28 yards, with a long of 21, and one kickoff for 31 yards in the Panthers’ 16-10 loss at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also fumbled once, but recovered it himself.

Was not active for the Patriots’ 34-13 win at the Tennessee Titans.

Nate Garner, OG, Miami Dolphins
Played as a substitute in the Dolphins’ 30-10 loss at the Houston Texans.

Brett Goode, LS, Green Bay Packers
Was the long snapper for the Packers in their 30-22 loss at the San Francisco 49ers

Chris Houston, CB, Detroit Lions
Houston has an injury to his left ankle and was not active for the Lions’ 27-23 victory over the St. Louis Rams in Detroit.

Ryan Mallett, QB, New England Patriots
Mallett, Tom Brady’s backup, did not play in the Patriots’ 34-13 win at the Tennessee Titans.

D.J. Williams, TE, Green Bay Packers
Played as a substitute, but did not record any statistics, in the Packers’ 30-22 loss to the visiting San Francisco 49ers

George Wilson, SS, Buffalo Bills
Started at strong safety and had five combined tackles in the Bills’ loss at the New York Jets. He was on the field for 85 percent of the defensive snaps.

Jarius Wright, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Was not active for the Vikings’ 26-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Minnesota.

McFadden will be the Raiders’ starting running back in their home game vs. the San Diego Chargers. McFadden is making his regular-season return from a foot injury suffered last season. He’s been strong against AFC West foes in the past, rushing for 1,138 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games.

Felix Jones, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Jones played as a substitute but did not get any carries in the Cowboys’ 24-17 win at the New York Giants. He returned three kickoffs for 61 yards with a long of 25. He was targeted twice but did not make any receptions.

Mitch Petrus, OG, N.Y. Giants
Petrus was not active for the Giants’ 24-17 loss to the visiting Dallas Cowboys. He was recently cut by the team, but was re-signed the next day after D.J. Jones failed a physical.
