I fully expect him to flip to LSU before it's all said and done. I would like to have him but if not we will be just fine without him.

He gone....They absolutely will throw the ball more with Mettenberger this year. Can't really blame him although Feb is a long way away. Miles may tell him a different story then.

Very good point. Come Feb he may or may not have an offer to lsu. I'm sure our coaches can see the writing on the wall here also. I kind of seel sorry for him an a way. He may end up losing his offer from us and then get asked to grey shirt at lsu.

He would be a great get for Arkansas if he sticks. I don't understand offering a third TE but i'm not inside the LSU war room either. We need more DT's and CB's, not TE's. The only way I could see him on the roster is if they might be projecting him as a tall posession receiver. His 40 time doesn't really match that position. I guess one of the TE commits being a JC guy might be the reason. Arkansas has had a tough offseason, hang in there, Hogs.

I'm thinking that this offer he possesses may be a non-committable offer at this time. It may be a backup offer for Lester in case something happens with one of the other TE commitments. Then at that point, it would become a committable offer. Maybe that's why Skinner is going to "wait to see if they throw the ball"........

With their unbelievable depth LSU probably just wants to keep him from Arkansas. I know that does not happen as much anymore, with the scholarship limits, but I think it still happens some.

Who is the last all world Te from Lsu ? How many Te's have made all conference under Miles ? Just curious

If he's talking it over with moma and nem, no way he don't go to the tigers. Hilliard and Phillips the last two years on top of being a legacy from Patterson, writing is on the wall. Wouldn't be surprised to see the JC TECommit begin to look elsewhere.
