Glad to hear about the physicality of the practices and how Williams looked.
Of course the defensive line stuff looked similar, there's only so many ways to drill a swim move or a bull rush, etc. It's easy to play defensive line. The sole purpose of the hoop drill is to teach defensive linemen to run like a chicken with it's head cut off to the football. Screw up your gap? Fine, go make a play and it'll all be okay. Pretty easy to coach chasing the football, IMO.
Okay, maybe I'm just a tad biased......

I agree to a point I think where some staffs are better or worse is understanding each player and knowing HOW to get things to stick, such as not making mistakes and such that hurt the team.... avoiding penalties...missing things like screens and such like staying in position.
All of that is where some coaches hit or miss the mark just as much as everything physical.
