Arkansas currently has 20 commitments and six of them are a 4-star recruit with either the 247Composite or 247Sports recruit rankings.
Sebastian Tretola will begin classes at Arkansas next week and go through spring drills.
Iowa Western offensive tackle Sebastian Tretola signed with Arkansas in December and will be on campus during the next semester. Tretola chose Arkansas over offers from Oklahoma, Florida, TCU, Texas Tech, South Florida and others. Tretola is expected to play guard at Arkansas though he's rated a tackle.
At Iowa Western, Tretola played right tackle. Tretola has a grade of 90 with 247Sports, is the No. 29 junior college recruit in the nation, No. 8 offensive tackle in junior college and No. 1 junior college recruit in Iowa.
Bolivar (Mo.) quarterback Rafe Peavey will also be at Arkansas at midterm. Peavey had an outstanding performance in the Under Armour All-American Game. Peavey has a grade of 93 with 247Sports, is the No. 200 recruit in the Top 247, No. 11 pro-style quarterback and No. 5 recruit in Missouri. Peavey is expected to get a long look at quarterback during spring drills. Peavey had over 25 scholarship offers.
El Dorado defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson played in the U.S. Army All-American Game this past Saturday. Jackson also holds offers to Ole Miss and Alabama. He has a grade of 96 with the 247Composite, No. 75 recruit in the Top 247, No. 3 defensive tackle and No. 1 recruit in the state. He has a chance to come in and compete for immediate playing time.
The Razorbacks picked up a commitment on Saturday from St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College offensive tackle Brian Wallace at the U.S. Army All-American Game. Wallace chose the Hogs over Alabama after also considering Iowa and Missouri. Wallace has a grade of 96 with 247Sports, is the No. 62 recruit in the Top 247, No. 5 offensive tackle and No. 1 recruit in Missouri.
Another 4-star offensive tackle is Dallas (Texas) Bishop Dunne Catholic's Jovan Pruitt, who committed to Arkansas this past summer. Pruitt has a grade of 89 with the 247Composite, is the No. 308 recruit in the nation, No. 24 offensive tackle and No. 37 recruit in Texas. Pruitt chose Arkansas over Oklahoma, Baylor and several others. Both Wallace and Pruitt will be given long looks this fall.
Metairie (La.) Archbishop Rummel cornerback Henre' Toliver is a 4-star as well. Toliver has a grade of 90 with the 247Composite, is the No. 24 cornerback in the country and No. 18 in Louisiana. Texas A&M, Oklahoma and others have offered Toliver. Toliver is expected to challenge for immediate playing time.
Arkansas has six spots left in this class and are still working on some top recruits around the nation. The Jan. 17 and Jan. 24 weekends will be really huge to the UA's recruiting efforts as far as finishing this class. The Hogs will also host recruits on Jan. 31.
