Bolivar (Mo.) 4-star Class of 2014 quarterback Rafe Peavey and his dad, Jack, took an unofficial visit to Arkansas on Saturday.
Rafe Peavey is a 4-star quarterback who committed to Arkansas this past June.
Jack Peavey, a former graduate assistant football coach at Arkansas under Jack Crowe, said he and Rafe were pleased with the visit.
“It went good,” Jack Peavey said. “We got to see a couple of new things. We saw the indoor track facility and the new football center.”
“Coach Chaney spent a lot of time with us,” Jack said. “We're going back as soon as we can to meet with Coach Bielema.”
The younger Peavey committed to the Razorbacks last summer after an appearance at the summer camp in June. His dad watched him at the camp.
“We're just getting used to new relationships,” Jack said. “You know that is. It went great though.”
Peavey has offers from schools all over the nation such as Missouri, Nebraska, Auburn and around a dozen more. The dad was asked if his son considers himself still committed to Arkansas with all the coaching turnover in recent months.
“He's still very solid to Arkansas,” Jack Peavey said. “There's nothing going on there.”
In addition to his dad's ties to Arkansas, Peavey's mom also attended Arkansas.
